this is me

Hey there, my name is Brilee Goad. I recently added this so y’all can get to know me a little.

Starting back to a couple years ago, I lost someone that was VERY important in my life. Someone who I valued in every aspect. My Pawpaw. The last moments we had, a moment I will forever hold in my heart. Hunter and I were sitting with him and he said “Y’all are going to be fine. Don’t worry about me, y’all are going to be just fine.” At that time I didn’t know what that meant or how I could be just fine without his guidance.

I lost myself. I lost my person. I didn’t know where to pick up. I went through the motions of getting up, going to work, spending time with family and my husband, and going to bed. I worked at a dental office as an assistant and hygienist for 5 years until June 2020.

February 27th Herbalife found us. We were excited because we were offered to work in Killen It Nutrition. Hunter had worked as a manager at Sam’s Club for 5 years until he lost his job a week later and we signed the lease two days after that.

Hunter told me, “If we can replace our income with our monthly Herbalife check and give me six months, you can quit your job.”

Three weeks went by getting the building ready to open and COVID hit. Not only that but quarantine- I got laid off from the office and we didn’t think we were going to be able to open. Thankfully we were deemed essential and opened in April.

The month of April alone changed my ENTIRE life, perspective, and mindset.

I never knew exactly what my Pawpaw was talking about until this month. His birthday is April 22nd but April-man Herbalife came at a time in my life that I needed it most.

What I mean by that is Herbalife made it possible for me to find me- my why in life and how I could achieve who I’m supposed to be and what example he was for me. He was such a role model in the aspect of doing anything and everything for everyone, taking care of family, preparing in life, and being the best person you can be.

It was as simple as writing a positive quote on a cup and helping people for it to change everything for me. It became crystal clear because that month and following months were just laid out by God. That God spoke through him that night.

I’m literally humbled and grateful to the core of my being for having him and his example and given this opportunity to do this for others and give them the opportunity of a life change as well.

I went back to work at the office May 5th and helped at Killen It on the weekends. Hunter was at Killen working full time 4 days a week and busting his butt building a team. He gave me the opportunity to quit my job in three months instead of six.

Since then we’ve been able to open up two additional clubs- The Hill Nutrition and Ardmore Nutrition. It’s been a blessing beyond measure that can only be a God-given opportunity. It’s like my Pawpaw knew before we knew.

It’s given us financial freedom, time freedom, and life we never thought was possible. Forever thankful🖤

In writing this, my hopes are that it’s given someone, even if it’s one person, a vision of what’s possible and to never give up on yourself. Keep pushing. Happiness comes from within. So it’s okay to take time for yourself and reflect on what you change to be better. Not only for the people around you but YOURSELF!!

For anyone, if you ever need a person to talk to, information on the opportunity with Herbalife, or anything ever- do not hesitate to talk to me.
