hey y’all!

after living in la 🎬 for 10 years, in february of 2019 i was facing eviction as a newly single mom with my two year old daughter, Autumn 👩‍👧

even with my mass privilege as a college educated white woman, i wasn’t having any luck securing employment at a livable wage. 💰🤷🏼‍♀️

(in hindsight, my biggest mistake was constantly giving up my own power and prioritizing my baby daddy’s need to work over my own, allowing his life to expand while mine shrunk.) 😭🤦🏼‍♀️

after driving for a ride-share service as frequently as i was able and applying to a wide-range of jobs for over a year, it proved impossible to find balance in being the full-time caretaker of our toddler and generating a livable income in la 🎥

✨seemingly✨ out of options we headed east ➡️ towards my hometown in florida🏝

in fl, i was unable to secure ✨safe✨ and affordable housing for us so we continued our journey north to nashville with the intention of putting roots down but the universe had other plans…

i was met with over a nine month waiting list for subsidized child-care, while feeding us from the food pantry, and once again unable to create a life for us out of my sole income of bare-minimum child support. it felt like i was living in the twilight zone! i needed childcare to secure employment and i needed employment to afford the childcare. 🤱🏼

i continued to listen to my intuition and had the idea to relocate to mexico where the cost of living was significantly less and i knew, at a minimum, i’d be able to afford our basic necessities on my current streams of income. 🌮

our journey continued from there, one vision at a time, one step at a time, one city at a time. 🪜

i rarely knew where we would end up, or how things would work out, i just continued to listen to my intuition and trust the spiritual guidance the universe was sending me along the way 🤌🏼

three years later we have traveled across n. america 🇲🇽 🇺🇸 🇨🇦 using housesitting, hotels and vacation rentals to keep a roof over our heads.

our full-time traveling adventure began out of necessity but quickly became our preferred way of life 🌎

we have met incredible and fascinating humans, and animals, on our journey, and seen some of the most mesmerizing places 🏔🌵🌊
