BUKKI (AB) OKIJI —

Omo-Oba Bukola Adelekan Okiji also known as AB is the COO of Ooni of Ife Global Outreach (OIGO). With a broad portfolio of both operational services and a range of corporate support functions, ensuring the dependable provision of high-quality focused activities. AB is also responsible for developing policies that support the overall vision of His Imperial Majesty (H.I.M). She oversees OIGO international strategy and supports quality service delivery across the globe, helping to shape everything that makes OIGO endears to international networks.
AB uses her skills gained from her diverse wealth of experiences from the health, education and government sector to build and maintain strong relationships with various worldwide agencies and organisations to ensure opportunities are identified and maximised for all interested parties.
Alongside her commitment to HIM's global projects, AB is a qualified and certified project manager and holds a senior project management role within the health sector, where she is actively involved in delivering programmes for digitally transformation projects. In addition, she provides support for the strategic and corporate framework of her unit and helps the management in achieving its overall objectives.
Outside of OIGO, AB runs a digitally focused enterprise called Ask Bukki® to support start-ups, and small business owners with their initiatives, campaigns and strategies.
Ask Bukki® started as a motivational business advice service, encouraging entrepreneurs and startups to level up on their products and services developed into a one stop shop, from registering businesses, trademarking, designing the brand, creating websites, promoting products, events and services and running campaigns. The business is a fully integrated project management and consultancy agency which builds on passion, creativity, versatility and outside-the box-approach in using the latest trends in ensuring that our client's projects (however big or small) meets their requirements and targets on time and within budget.
In between organising various community focused events, AB is the Head of Operations and Events Project Manager for the largest and one of the longest running successful fashion show in Europe, Africa Fashion Week London; celebrating their 10th year Anniversary August 2020.
A mother to two young girls, age 12 and 14, AB was inspired through their yearning to learn about their culture knowing how disengaged some in the diaspora are with their culture founded The Cradle Calls, a charity focused organisation that promotes the educational, training, entrepreneurial, social, civic and cultural needs of the young ethnic minority community around the world through information, advice, and guidance. In particular, working in partnership with other organisations to maintain the unique culture and values of the communities. They deliver, support and develop new youth clubs and societies through local and international events and awareness programs. This year, they are organising a tour for all in the diaspora to experience the Olojo Festival like one would do any other global festival.
Growing up, AB has always been passionate about giving back, with focus to support, develop and integrate a voice one way or another. She founded Global Moonlighters, a community that helps professionals and entrepreneurs to explore opportunities to help them start, grow and thrive on their path to success.
AB holds several undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Law, Business and Technology. AB is a dynamic motivator and strategists with a strong passion for the growth of cultural innovation, women focused projects through modern skills application, and digital transformation as conduits of wealth generation and development across Africa.
