About Me

Hi my name is Caitlin and I am currently a student at the University of Toronto. Majoring in Engineering Science, I am able to feed my urge to constantly learn since this program offers the most breath and depth out of all the engineering disciplines at UofT. Taking a variety of courses in first and second year has let me discover my passions and guide me to know what I wish to do with my life. As of now, I hope to specialize in materials on the nano-level and see how robotics and high-tech can be incorporated into our clothes, skincare, and daily life. Having a bit of a business spirit, I was given the opportunity to lead the marketing team for aUToronto, UofT’s autonomous car team. I am able to apply my knowledge in graphic and website design, consumer engagement and trend analysis to best represent our team for the annual SAE competition.

After a long day of studies and work, I like to come home to my computer where I stream on Twitch and talk to a small community of people that I’ve gathered. I enjoy entertaining and making them laugh as I believe we need more of that in the world.

Aside from studying and Twitch, I also like to listen to music and play the alto sax, piano, and flute. When I have time, I create YouTube videos to help document my life and hopefully make a positive impact on others while being able to improve my skills using Adobe Creative Suite. In highschool, I used to play badminton competitively but stopped to focus on my studies. However, I am once again training in hopes to try out for the UofT badminton varsity team for Fall 2023.
