Top 10 Asian Restaurants in Eindhoven

My pocket list of authentic asian restaurants

I can’t say I’ve been to all the restaurants in Eindhoven but I think I’ve been to a number of Asian restaurants cause I miss home a lot. That’s why I’m making a list of top 10 asian restaurants I love the most in Eindhoven. There’s no sponsored, there’s no rating, only my pure support for these businesses. I hope you enjoy it cause I’m drooling already!

Many of the restaurants on the list are in my pocket list and I’ve become their regular customer! I’m sure there’re some places on the list you’ve been to too!

This list is only based on the restaurants I have tried myself, if there’re some places not on this list, please let me know and I will be happy to try!

01

Noedbar

WHAT TO GET: ALL KINDS OF NOODLES

I live for noodles, it’s not difficult to guess what’s on my favorite ordering list!! Curry mee, prawn mee, wonton noodles, char kwai teow, you name it! Tips: their Cantonese and Malaysian dishes are more authentic, but they also have the most iconic noodle dishes from other countries 🍜 slurp slurp

Lebua Plaza

WHAT TO GET: SPICY LEBUA, NUA NAM TOK, YELLOW CURRY

A new Thai vegan friendly restaurant just opened after the first lock down. WOW spicy Lebua is a vegan dish with meat substitutes and it’s my favorite. Yellow curry with beef/chicken/vegan, I don’t care, I can even only eat the curry, perfectly to eat with a bowl of rice. (My month is watering while typing this) Btw what I also like about them is they don’t have white rice, only red rice. Tip: if you can eat spicy you have to let them know cause they try to make as easy as possible for everybody but I can’t eat anything that’s not spicy 😆

Too bad now with the second lock down, they have temporary closed.

Kam Po

WHAT TO GET: DIM SUMS, PORRIDGE, CHICKEN WITH GINGER OIL(need to reserve)

I grew up eating Cantonese food and I can say everything tastes just like home in Kam Po, the first time I went there I almost cried! You know how difficult to find real taste from home in so far away, and I’ve found it! I’ve been telling everyone around me that they even started delivery, call them!

Dim sum from them is without question, but I’m not here to tell you what you already know. The steamed whole chicken with ginger oil from them is BOOM! Tip: It’s not in their menu but you can call them a few hours earlier to reserve. You’re welcome

Takumi

WHAT TO GET: TAKOYAKI, SPICY EBI KARAAGE RAMEN

If I can only include one ramen place, Takumi has to be on the list. While a lot of places are using non egg noodles to control their cost, Takumi sticks to original egg noodles and its broth tastes so yummy and rich. As a side you have to try their takoyaki, octopus balls with mayonnaise, with good quality of food and flavor.

Vietnamama

WHAT TO GET: PHO BEEF, BANH MI, FRESH SPRING ROLL

Where is the best pho you can find in Eindhoven? Vietnamama! Every time when I order pho takeaway from them, people at work can follow the smell of the soup to find me, YES this is how awesome it is! Other than pho I recommend their banh mi, Vietnamese sandwiches and also fresh spring roll.

06

Arigato

WHAT TO GET: AMERICAN ROLL, NIGIRI SELECTION, ARIGATO CHICKEN, WAGYU

They were super busy when there was no lock down, you really had to make a reservation, even on a Wednesday! Start with a glass of yummy cocktail, Arigato won’t disappoint you with their high quality sushi and fresh raw fish. And there are some dishes that are not on the menu you MUST ORDER! Like Pad Thai and Arigato chicken. Now with the second lock down in the Netherlands, they are closed temporary. If you miss their dishes, they have now opened a sandwich shop in front of Heuvelgalerie, you can find some of your favorite dishes in buns for takeaway!

07

Etenshoven

WHAT TO GET: MOUTHWATERING CHICKEN, SICHUAN PEPPER GRILLED SEA-BASS

Straight to the point, this is a chinese restaurant and what they do best is the Sichuan pepper dishes. Forget about it if you don’t like spicy at all, but if you can handle it, the spicy dishes will be the only ones you will order. No Babi pangang, no saté, a true Chinese restaurant only with the authentic Chinese dishes.

Indonesia Eindhoven

WHAT TO GET: NASI RAMES, ALL KINDS OF SATÉ, NASI KUNING

You can basically try a lot of their good dishes when you order the Nasi rames, they also have different kinds of Saté, my favorite ones are the lamb ones! If you feel like special, ask them to change with white rice to Nasi kuning, the turmeric and coconut milk rice!

Touch of India

WHAT TO GET: TANDOORI CHICKEN, All THE LAMB DISHES

Seeing a lot of Indian tourists eating here confirms me that they have very authentic Indian dishes. I haven’t tried so many Indian restaurants in Eindhoven but Touch of India is definitely on top of my list! They have vegetarian choices too!

InfiniTea

WHAT TO GET: BLUE GALAXY, TARO FANTASY, PINA COLADA, BROWN SUGAR BUBBLE TEA

I know this is not a restaurant but I really want to include drinks! My first time trying konjac peals instead of tapioca bubbles and I LOVE it! It feels lighter, healthier. And also they have so many creative drinks, MUST add their PUDDING BEAR in your drink ;)
