Candace C. Edwards is an Ivana Chubbuck trained professional actor, writer, producer, and musician from the Chicagoland area. Candace has appeared on stages across Chicago including 𝘎𝘰𝘰𝘥𝘮𝘢𝘯, 𝘗𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘮𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘦𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘳𝘺 𝘓𝘺𝘳𝘪𝘤 𝘖𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘢 𝘰𝘧 𝘊𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘨𝘰. She has also starred in several primetime television shows including, 𝘊𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘨𝘰 𝘍𝘪𝘳𝘦, 𝘉𝘰𝘴𝘴 (𝘒𝘦𝘭𝘴𝘦𝘺 𝘎𝘳𝘢𝘮𝘮𝘦𝘳), 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘊𝘩𝘪. She is the curator of the blog, 𝘾𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝘼𝙘𝙩𝙨 𝙊𝙪𝙩, which will be available soon. ⁣

Candace is also the founder of SHE IS ART LLC, which is an initiative to bring awareness to creators of color and provide them with access to different genres of art behind the scenes. She functions as the Executive Director and serves as a liaison for creators. ⁣

Candace is hard at work finishing her Master’s degree and is very proud of this milestone. Among other things, she will be filming her first feature film debut in the fall of October, 2021. Stay tuned! ⁣
