I grew up in a small town in Central Pennsylvania, got an Aeronautical Engineering degree from Penn State U, which led to a job with a big defense company in Los Angeles, CA. Then got a Masters degree from USC. It didn't take long to get frustrated with working for a large company. Never felt I was paid what I was worth and never saw the outcomes of my work affecting anything.
So, I quit and started a SCUBA DIVING business. And I never worked for someone else again! During this time, I met my current wife, Lori, and since we both like adventure, we took 10 months off to go backpacking in Asia and the Islands in the North Pacific. Finally, we sold the business and went cruising a good part of the world on our sailboat for over 10 years. After that, we started a tax business in Southern California going from one office to four. During this time, we were introduced to a Network Marketing company, which we have developed into our current full-time business.
