Carolyn Hanson, obsessive storyteller

Between covering Warped Tour from backstage at age 12, to interviewing Ziggy Marley at age 14, Carolyn's passion for connecting with creative minds defined her adolescence and now defines her adult life. As a recent graduate with a degree in Cultural Criticism at NYU Gallatin, Carolyn has honed her writing and critical skills, combining them with a broader knowledge of the editorial and creative industries as a whole. Her deep interest in music led her to discover an interest in the aesthetics of fashion and beauty, and the overlap and interconnectedness between the modes of expression. Currently a Freelance Updates Editor at Byrdie, she has been a contributor to L'Officiel USA, Merry Jane, Billboard, V Magazine, PAPER, NYLON, IndieShuffle, and more.
