The Springborn

Nothing is ever impossible. ✨

An 1880’s coal town is no place for a girl with antlers.

Once upon a winter’s day, a childless miner and his wife find baby Sabella in a mysterious basket. When she suddenly grows a pair of silvery gray antlers, they hide her from the world in embarrassment and fear.

Seventeen years later, Sabella’s life is nothing but housework and loneliness—but charming, nineteen-year-old Calder arrives on her doorstep determined to change that. He knows her secret and has plenty of his own. Among them: he’s been her unseen protector for years, he has the wings of a moth, and he’s part of the Springborn: a group of people with extraordinary gifts like theirs.

As Calder strives to win Sabella’s heart and the Springborn welcome her with open arms, disaster strikes. She and Calder must work together to save their exceptional family from an unlikely enemy—and in doing so, discover what it means to be true to themselves, their gifts, and each other.

The Gingerbread Queen

Once upon a time, Gretel defeated the witch of the gingerbread cottage and saved Hansel. Now, she must face what the witch left behind...

Germany, 1825. Thirteen years have passed since Gretel and her brother Hansel started new lives in a small town. She’s changed her name, lived quietly, and tried to forget her terrible past—yet gossiping neighbors accuse her of being the old witch’s protégé. When roguish Hansel stirs up the townsfolk’s wrath, she must return to the gingerbread cottage—a place both she and her enemies fear.

Deep within the forest, the white duck awaits Gretel’s return. He and the enchanted forest have plans to nudge her toward a dark, magical future—whether she likes it or not.

Could it be her fate to become the next cruel witch-queen to reign--and to forfeit any chance of a happily-ever-after with a kind and noble man? And what dangerous secrets does the white duck hide?

The Gingerbread Thief

Journey afar to a secret baking contest-and win the wish of your heart.

Armed with a stolen gingerbread recipe, ornery wizard (and former duck) Ansgar sets out to compete in a contest unlike any other. The prize? A single wish. Three years after fleeing the witch's forest, his strength and magic are vanishing-and he's counting on the enchanted recipe that once beguiled Hansel and Gretel to fend off his death.

Meanwhile, newly widowed Josephine receives an invitation to the same contest . With a cat-who she believes is her bespelled late husband-in tow, she embarks on a journey to save herself from destitution and, perhaps, her husband from feline form. If she fails, at least she'll have one grand adventure to remember.

When fate throws the unlikely pair together, Ansgar's plans crumble faster than a stale biscuit. He's allergic to cats, exasperated by Josephine's chatter-and utterly undone by her kindness. Together, they'll face fiery trials, raging rivers, dubious soup, and the greatest challenge of all: the bake-off for the wish that could change everything.

The Gingerbread Thief is book two in The Gingerbread Legacy duology by award-winning author Carrie Anne Noble. An enchanting adventure full of heart, laughter, and slow-burn romance-perfect for fans of Sarah Beth Durst, Heather Fawcett, and T. Kingfisher.

Trowbridge and Fye

Fairy tales are fun...until your life becomes one.

It's 1987, and fifteen-year-old Frances Fye might be a little too obsessed with fairy tales. But when grief and the loneliness of small-town life threaten to overwhelm her, stories carry her off to magical adventures.

Then a new boy shows up at school-mysterious, magnetic, and shockingly similar to Fran's favorite fictional hero. And when a wrong-number phone call leads to friendship with Trowbridge, an exiled bridge troll with sinister intentions, Fran's world cracks wide open.

Suddenly, the fairy tales she's always loved aren't just stories anymore. They're real-and dangerous.

Entangled in the deadly schemes of fae royalty, she has little choice but to depend on the most unlikely allies: her middle-aged English teacher who's more than he seems, the secretly sensitive school rebel, and her less-than-charming ex.

To escape the mythical lands she once longed for, Fran must face the truth she's spent years avoiding: real courage isn't found in books.

It's found in her.
