TOP BOOKS TO READ IN 2020 (AND BEYOND) —
March, 2020
These are just some of my recommendations of amazing books to read. You’re welcome.
Everything is figureoutable - Marie Forleo
It really is! I highly recommend this book, I got the oppurtunity to meet Marie (with her even personally signing my book!) and she's just as lovely as she is online and on her podcasts in real life.
Purchase hereYou can get through this - Anthony Lyrics
This book is brilliant. Straight to the point poems to read in any mood you are in, really. Got given this as a gift, referring to it very often! There is also a great goal checklist at the back.
Purchase hereARIES ♈️ 🐐- The art of living well and finding happiness according to your star sign - Sally Kirkman
Shockingly true to my sign when I read this book. A real eye-opener but also gives you some guidance and direction. I purchased mine from Urban Outfitters, but you can also buy from Amazon.
Little black book - Othegha Uwagba
A delightful pocket sized book for the woman who's going places. A must read.
100 days happier - Domonique Bertolucci
A great read. So much wisdom on each page, bringing a burst of positivity to you each day.
The power of now - Eckhart Tolle
IYKYK.
WANT TO BE SUCCESSFUL? DO THESE FIVE THINGS —
Have at least three sources of income
Get your side hustle on! There's so much out there, the world is literally your oyster. You could be bartending one evening, copywriting, selling clothes on Depop... the list is endless. Thomas C Horley interviewed 200 self-made millionaires and found that 65% of them had three different sources of money making it's way into their accounts.
Happy hustling!
Stay 100% focused
Doing 10% of 10 things isn't 100 of anything!
Be self-aware, unapologetically
Always ask questions! Most of the time when a speaker asks is there any questions, the rook falls silent. Not at a billionaire meet-up. Don't be afraid of looking stupid as no question is stupid, and always remember that. Billionaires tend to be very curious and open minded.
Read philosophy, and just read in general
Billionaires and the ultra rich are always reading. Warren Buffet says he spends 80% of his day reading. Reading improves your grammar, intellect, and so much more, coming from someone who is an avid reader it's also relaxing and is also a better alternative to switching on the TV most of the time.
If anyone asks or laughs why you read so much, simply respond with maybe you should read more!
Wake up early, 5/6am early
Yes. It sounds crazy, but trust me it works. You feel like you are ahead of the whole world when you do this. Start off with your hardest, most important task first.
