Hola! My name is Monica and my journey to starting the #ccbucketlist began the summer of 2019. It started as a way to explore my hometown and support small business!
What started as a summer #staycation turned into a year long escapade! I fell in love visiting new places, trying new foods,and checking off all the unique murals throughout the city. It took on a life of its own with much support from family and friends ! In 2020, I started the CCBucketlist to share my adventures with locals, visitors, and those looking to visit our beautiful city.

The Corpus Christi Beer Trail takes you on an adventure through the Coastal Bend. With six local breweries and a distillery, Corpus Christi is the next bucket list craft beer destination in Texas. From the downtown Marina Arts District to North Padre Island, sample coastal South Texas beer minutes from the beach.

Here’s how to spend a weekend getaway exploring New Braunfels and the Texas Hill Country with some of my favorite activities below:
Check-in at Gruene Cottages, just a short walk from Gruene Hall, for a cozy & relaxing stay. Be on the lookout for live entertainment on the weekends in a private intimate setting!
Sweet & Savory breakfast with an iced cold brew from 2 Tarts Bakery to start your day.
Float New Braunfels’ Comal River, a refreshing 72 degrees year-round, with Texas Tubes. It’s the perfect way to spend an afternoon under the Texas sun.
Dinner at McAdoos (a Historic Landmark & former post office turned eatery) for a taste of BEST seafood in the area. Thank me later!
