Hello to all of my fellow editors on TRP, and to everyone! I'm Chanel Vieira, one of the editors on TRP. In the world of TikTok, there's something called TikTok Roleplay Pageant (TRP), where we can showcase our editing talent and intelligence. I started using TikTok in 2020 during the pandemic, and I'm an editor using Capcut. But in 2022 I change my editing app into Alight motion, I edit videos of BTS, ENHYPEN and other K-pop artists. Editing has become my hobby.

In 2023, when school reopened, I had to reduce my editing time. However, I still managed to edit on Saturdays and Sundays, although less frequently due to school assignments and projects. But in 2024, I created a personal account on TikTok just for watching videos and chatting with friends.

In 2024, as I mentioned earlier, I created an account. Initially, I told myself that it would be solely for personal use – watching videos and chatting with friends. Then, I stumbled upon an application form for a pageant called Miss Multiversal, and it's currently the 3rd edition. I was intrigued and joined the pageant, I checked the caption, and it indicated that it's only a Roleplay Pageant. Then, when I checked the profiles and videos of the applicants, I noticed they were editing beauty queens. That's why I realized it's an editing competition, and that's what pushed me to join. In fact, at that time, I wasn't Chanel Vieira yet. Because when I joined that pageant, I was known as Maxine Dee, and I only ended as Top 10 Finalists. Despite initially using CapCut because I had forgotten how to edit in Alight Motion, I eventually relearned and started editing again. I asked other editors on TikTok for transitions, and they were kind enough to help me.

Now, I'm becoming known among others in the editing community, though I acknowledge that I still have room for improvement. TikTok pageantry has become my safe place since Feb 2024, and I believe that someday I can become a big editor.

H.A.N: Harnessing Awareness for Net Safety.

H: Harnessing - Utilizing resources and efforts to improve digital literacy.

A: Awareness - Raising understanding and knowledge about digital safety.

N: Net Safety - Ensuring safe and responsible practices online.

This advocacy is my purpose in TRP because I want to raise awareness about the importance of thinking before we click. We need to educate everyone about H.A.N. not only in TRP but across all social media platforms. I first used this advocacy in the 18th Miss Eco Intergalactic, where I became the charity. I will continue to promote this throughout TRP.

My Motto in life is : "When you're stuck, don't give up; try something new."

My Motto in TRP is : "Strut, sparkle, and snatch the Crown!"

I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone in the TikTok Roleplay Pageantry (TRP) community who has supported me throughout my journey. A special thanks to my dear friends Briant/Enaira, Chloe, Ter, Leisha, Valentina, Selena, Ren, Jazz, and many more. Your unwavering support has been my driving force, and I am forever grateful to each of you.

The lessons I've learned and the friendships I've made in TRP have been truly priceless. Thank you all for being a part of this incredible experience with me.
