Chantal Austin, ACSW
I consider it a part of my higher calling to provide high quality mental health care for all genders, and especially for BIPOC women.
Hello there! I’m so glad you made it here today.
As a proud member of a large family of powerful women, I have come to believe that when we create spaces where women can heal and grow, we create opportunities for entire families to heal, for workspaces to thrive, and for whole communities to flourish along with them. I believe that investing in women means investing overall in community wellness and wholeness.
I integrate Somatic Trauma Therapy, including EMDR, and Narrative Therapy to support clients navigating challenges such as Anxiety, PTSD, C-PTSD, Women’s Issues, and Minority Stress. I tailor my therapeutic methods based on your current challenges, strengths, and specific goals. My approach is Trauma-Informed, Strengths-Based, and always Person-Centered. This means that I believe no one can know you better or more fully than you can. Working together will include discovering or rediscovering your Center while developing and strengthening skills that enable you to be an intentional participant and leader in your healing journey.
All at the same time we are individuals, partners, family members, neighbors, employees and employers, community members, etc. Our work together is to help integrate your individual healing with your lived experience navigating the real world and your unique community blueprint.
I hope to learn more about your journey and work together to find an authentic and useful plan to support you on your path!
