Charmaine Nicole
Dancer | Choreographer | Poet | Creative
Hey there, I’m Charmaine. I’m a dancer, choreographer, and poet living and working in London.
I have choreographed pieces for the stage, competitions, physical theatre, and arts festivals. I have danced, choreographed and won multiple awards as part of the University of St Andrews dance team and debuted my first solo full length dance and poetry show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2019. I am currently training to get my BA degree in Contemporary Dance.
I self published a poetry collection titled ‘These Hands Were Made To’ — 62 pages featuring poems on the topics of love, grief, survival, and creativity.
In addition to dancing, choreographing, and writing— I have worked as a photographer, cinematographer, video editor, graphic designer for my own work and on various projects for which I’ve been recruited.
