Who is Chloé Marie?
Chloé Marie is a professional singer-songwriter originally from Baton Rouge, La. and now based in New Orleans. Chloé has become a staple of the live music scene having shared the stage with artists such as Tank & the Bangas, The Black Pumas, The Preservation Hall All-Stars, Big Freedia, Pell, Son Little, and many more. Along with her band, Chloé has performed at festivals such as the legendary New Orleans Jazz Festival, Skull & Roses (Ventura, Ca.), and the Baton Rouge Blues Festival. She has performed at many notable venues in both her hometown and surrounding cities such as Tipitina’s, The Varsity Theater, Chelsea’s Live, House of Blues: NOLA, Gasa Gasa, Howlin Wolf, Artmosphere (Lafayette), The Mohawk (Austin), and Cheer Up Charlie’s (Austin). In 2020, Chloé Marie began her solo music journey; picking up a guitar and subsequently writing a completely new set of fresh, Americana/folk-inspired tunes which she now plays with a band under her own name. Her first release post-pandemic, “Close Enough” featured standout track “Tall Lover” and many others that have solidified her place as one of the most promising emerging artists in New Orleans. In addition to being a seasoned live band performer, Chloé is an accomplished musical theatre actor with over 10+ stage credits including One Night with Billie & Ella (Ella Fitzgerald), Cabaret (Sally Bowles), Dreamgirls (Deena), Hair (Dionne), Little Shop of Horrors (Chiffon), and The Rocky Horror Show (Columbia.)
