Wheelchair 🦽

While I am able to walk, I can only do short distances. My legs and back become numb and painful the further I walk so the wheelchair is much better for me.

Starlight Super Swim ⭐️

I’ve been participating in the Starlight Super Swim from its beginning in 2019. I pick a distance to swim over 30 days and people sponsor me, with all the money going to the Starlight Children’s Foundation

Spinal Injury 🤕

My Spinal injury consists of 5 main parts
1. I had a Laminectomy - part of my spine removed.
2. I have osteoporosis - my bones are very weak.
3. I have 2 broken vertebrae - broken spinal bones.
4. I have a form of scoliosis called hyper lordosis - excessive curves in my spine.
5. And I have nerve damage in my legs/back from an unknown cause - numbness, sensitivity and weird sensations.

My Starlight Wish 🐶

After overcoming cancer I was granted a starlight wish from the Starlight Children’s Foundation. I wished for a puppy named Pheonix.

My Cancer 🎗

In 2016 I was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma Cancer. A tumour the size of a can of soft drink was wrapped around my spine and squashing my spinal cord.
I had surgery, 11 months of Chemo and 31 days of radiation therapy to get rid of the cancer.
