Hi, I'm Chris! I am from the UK and currently living in New Zealand. I enjoy getting out and about in this amazing world we have. There is no greater feeling that getting lost in the woods, reaching the top of a mountain or taking on a challenge in the wilderness.
The Lake District National Park
Photos from the fells and tarns of the Lake District National Park in the United Kingdom.
Lone tree at sunset
I managed to capture this awesome tree out by it's lonesome self at Kelly Hall Tarn on a quick walk at sunset.
Captured during a foggy walk home via the Grizedale Forrest near Coniston Water. It is a simple track but the fog really made it pop
Slater Bridge Little Langdale
Probably one of the most snapped bridge in the lake district and rightly so! This beautiful bridge is also next to an awesome cave/quart that is also worth a visit!
Lingmore Fell has these amazing dry stone walls running along it's spine. It is amazing to think how old these walls are and how they were built.
This beautiful tarn is one of my favorites!
I stumbled across this small tarn while mountain biking in the Grizedale Forrest. The 'Old Man of Coniston' is the fell in the background.
The Cottage in the Clouds
This is an awesome off grid cottage that can be rented out. It is very remote with no car access, electricity or running water!
Some of my favorites from my recent Scotland road trip!
Cairngorms river valley
This was a river we had to cross to visit the Cairngorm Reindeer Center. We were told all about the rewilding process and how only a few years ago this valley was barren.
Reindeer in the Cairngorms
It was so awesome to spend some time with these guys. So beautiful!
Old Achiltibuie school house
Awesome view of the Atlantic Ocean from Achiltibuie!
Some of my favorites from my 2+ years in the land of the long white cloud.
This walking track heads through some of the small pockets of natural New Zealand bush left on the Banks Peninsula. Beautiful track with amazing views from the summit to reward yourself.
Beautiful views from the scenic route around the crater rim. Below is the Akaroa harbour with the ōnawe peninsula in the center.
Crater Rim Hike
A view along the crater rim of the Banks Peninsula from Stoney Bay Peak.
A small collection of times large companies have featured my pictures.
