Christina Sideris presents BALANCE: an immersive art installation exploring the pursuit of happiness. Visitors will enter a tunnel created with dramatic, large-scale photographic art pieces displayed on custom-made, illuminated boxes. This new biophilic system has been scientifically documented to increase productivity and creativity, and improve mood.

Biophilic Design is the concept of bringing the natural environment indoors. By incorporating nature, natural light (daylight source such as the sun) indoors is scientifically documented to increase productivity, creativity and overall mood enhancement. These natural daylight sourced art boxes are environmentally sourced and produced in Canada and produce light therapy benefits.

The illuminated light box utilized in Sideris’ artwork brings a host of benefits in both how they are produced and to the environment of the viewer.
