Dig This Jive
The work of Christine Pasalo Norland
About
finding my shine
It's not often that I come out from behind the scenes.
As a program coordinator and content creator for a nonprofit in the comic arts industry, my role is to produce and promote events and digital products while supporting front line volunteers.
As a freelance writer, I'm the byline, never the subject.
As a parent, my anak* has my focus.
This is the space I claim for myself, to take pride in what I'm capable of doing. If you dig what I do, please reach out!

Comic-Con@Home Pull Quotes
To amplify panels featuring BIWOC, BIPOC, disabled peoples', and LGBTQ+ voices, I created 18 pull quote graphics that were shared as Comic-Con Instagram Stories.
COMIC-CON INSTAGRAMTHRIVE with Comic-Con Museum@Home
This series of Instagram Story templates spanned the week of Comic-Con@Home. A new trio of activities was posted daily from July 20-26, and the date associated to each list "lit up" in a muted yellow. It was developed in collaboration with Kaiser Permanente San Diego County, a partnership I reflected in my color choices.
CCI MUSEUM INSTAGRAMTake Pride
I designed this graphic for the Instagram feed of the Comic-Con Museum. It was used to announce a free Pride-themed PDF activity book.
CCI MUSEUM INSTAGRAM POSTThis or That Series
This is the first series of Instagram Story templates I pitched, developed, and designed for the Comic-Con Museum to boost fan engagement.
