My Top Favorite TV Shows

Looking for something new to watch?

I love tv shows. I always get so into the storyline and the characters, as well as the visuals and over all aesthetic of the show.

Hannibal

This series was written by Brian Fuller, based off of the iconic books by Thomas Harris. It’s about Hannibal’s relationship with the character Will Graham. It’s definitely not a show if recommend to everyone, simply because it is quite gory at times, and I sometimes wonder how it was able to be shown on television with only a TV-14 rating, however, it is done so well, the acting is fantastic, and the plot, and aesthetic are amazing.

Pushing Daisies

Another show written by Brian Fuller, but let me tell you, completely different from Hannibal, it’s literally all sunshine and rainbows and maybe a hint of murder. This show is perfect if you just want something sweet to watch.

A Series Of Unfortunate Events

I grew up reading the books, and so I was really excited to see how the show was. I was not at all disappointed. I legit cried at the end, and I never cry. Ever.

Where to watch - Netflix

Downton Abbey

I love period dramas, and yes, Downton can get a little cheesy at times, but over all I thought it was a very well done show. It was historically accurate, and despite having so many characters, they still got their own storylines and I really liked that.

Good Omens

I went into this not knowing anything about it other then David Tennant was now a devil, and that’s all anyone needs to know honestly. If you like Doctor Who you will adore this show, it’s hilarious, unique, and quite possibly the best series I have ever seen.

Summer Fashion

sunshine 🌞🌞🌞

Summer is one of my favorite seasons, simply because it’s the easiest to dress for. You don’t have to worry about hauling along a bulky jacket, or messing your hair up in an uncomfortable beanie. I feel so much more comfortable and free in a sun dress!

Sundress

I got this floral sundress a couple years ago at Kohl’s. It stands out because it’s all black, and then has the pop of colors with the flowers. I love anything floral honestly.

Fabric Shorts

I got these shorts (surprise!) at Kohl’s. They are so comfortable, and I paired them with a cute black tank from Aeropostale, and of course, my Birkenstock’s. Also thanks @ my bf who took this picture lol

Classy

Jumpsuits are my favorite thing. They are literally the entire outfit, you don’t have worry about finding a matching shirt or anything. I paired this black jumpsuit that I got from Rue 21 with a jacket from TJ Max because it was a little chilly out.

Graphic T’s

I have a million graphic, or as my mom likes to call them “junky” tees. They are so fun to wear, and I can show off all my fandoms to the world so why not! The Queen shirt is from Hot Topic, and the shorts are from Aeropostale.

Graphic T’s #2

Here’s another picture of me with another Hot Topic shirt. Surprise.

My Favorite Books

Some books I like

Just some completely random books I would recommend

The Great Gatsby - F.Scott Fitzgerald

If you know me, you know that I adore this book. If you haven’t for whatever reason read it, just do it.

Good Omens - Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett

If you like Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, or Doctor Who, or both, you will love this book.

The Glass Castle - Jeannette Walls

The Glass Castle is a memoir written by a women about her life with abusive parents. It’s obviously not a happy read, but it’s really interesting to here about her life, and how she was able to eventually escape it.

The Perks Of Being A Wallflower - Stephen Chbosky

I don’t normally like modern coming of age books/movies, mainly because I feel like they are not at all realistic. This book is absolutely perfect. Read it. Just do it.

The Picture of Dorian Gray - Oscar Wilde

Another classic. It’s really gay, and really aesthetic.

The Diary Of Anne Frank - Anne Frank

Another depressing autobiography. But really, I think all young girls should read this book.

And That’s It!

I hope you enjoyed this somewhat short list, I will let y’all know when I have more books to recommend!
