Microblading- Microblading is a semi-permanent tattooing technique used for the eyebrows. With using a hand held tool, tiny hair-like strokes are created while pigment is deposited into the epidermal layer of the skin. This technique mimics the look of individual hairs. This service is great for clients who are looking to add more volume to their brows and is not suitable for clients with oily skin.

Powder Brows- A cosmetic semi-permanent makeup technique designed to create eyebrows with a soft powder effect. The powder effect is done with a shading technique using a permanent makeup device, which is similar to a tattoo gun. This technique mimics the appearance of tiny pixels that can be ombréd for a more natural look or layered to create a bolder brow similar to makeup. This technique is great for anyone because it can create both a natural brow and a darker bolder brow.

Combination Brows- Combination brows are a customization and combination of the two techniques, microblading and powder brows, to create a dynamic brow design.

Perfecting Session - this is complimentary and can be done within 8-12 weeks of original service to perfect design

Color Boost- can be done within 12-24 months of original appointment to maintain design and refresh color

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR APPOINTMENT

Both services can take up to 3 hours. Eyebrow mapping will be done before the procedure where the artist will measure and draw the outline of the desired eyebrow shape. This step can take some time as it requires collaboration between the client and the artist to perfect the design. Following the mapping and design process, it’s time to perform the service.

AFTERCARE

After the service is complete, please avoid water in the brow area for 14 days. This makes showering, washing your hair, and working out difficult so it is important for clients to avoid hot showers, sweating, and steam/ moisture heavy environments. It is also important to avoid touching/ rubbing brow area within first 2 weeks following the service or until scabbing have completely fallen off. (apart from after care steps)

HEALING PROCESS

For the first couple of days the color of your new brows will be bolder and darker. Flaking and scabbing can start after 4-5 days. It is very important not to pick at these flakes or scabs as picking can pull out the pigment leading to loss of color in those spots.

The healing process and full development of the pigment and how it healed is completed around the 8- 12 week mark. We will schedule your perfecting session before you leave your initial appointment as it’s purpose is to make any adjustments and perfect the overall design!

MAINTENANCE

Due to the pigment fading over time, it is recommended to have a touch up done every 1-2 years to maintain results.

CANCELATION POLICIES- Appointments can be cancelled and or rescheduled no less than 48 hours before appointment time.
Deposits are able to be transferred if reschedule is done at least 48 hours before scheduled appointment. Deposits are non- refundable.

Does permanent makeup hurt?

Most of my clients are comfortable enough to doze off during the service and others would say it is slightly uncomfortable. I do use 2 forms of numbing to keep my clients as comfortable during this process as possible.

In short, it all depends on your pain tolerance and your ability to follow pre-care as excessive caffeine, certain medications, skin conditions, medications you may be on etc, can play a role in comfortability and overall results.
