I'm originally from Massachusetts but currently calling Maryland home. "Bloom where you're planted" has become my life motto over the last decade as a military spouse. My husband Mike and I have been married for 10 years and have a 3-year-old daughter named Kennedy. I work part time as a radiographer and clinical instructor for my alma mater, and full time as a chaos coordinator. I speak mostly in gifs and sarcasm, run strictly on caffeine, love Jesus, the Real Housewives franchise and anything that makes me feel like a Pinterest Mom. I'm on a mission to give my daughter a childhood she doesn't have to spend her adult life recovering from, while breaking generational trauma and healing my own inner child in the process. I'm a solo mama to the true love of my life, my 1-year -old baby boy, Aidan. Becoming his mom has inspired me to be as intentional as I can about my choices in an effort to raise him with the emotional consciousness that he deserves. I was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia, and moved to Massachusetts at a young age during a war in my native country. Growing up in a multicultural home and having opportunities to spend time in Sarajevo since the war's end have shaped the way I experience the world around me in ways that I've come to appreciate and honor. I hope to be able to share that with my son. My interests change as often as my hair color, but my love of The Office, Animal Crossing, 90's R&B, and a good book are unwavering. take my coffee strong, with a dash of sugar, and as early as I can.
