Hello hair babies, Iβve decided Iβm going to start this blog to keep my clients updated about my life and my hair journey itself.
First let me introduce myself. My name is Haley Lynn Mckewen. Iβm a traveling hairstylist. I specialize in blondes, balayage, color, event hair and makeup. I graduated from Kenneth Shuler School of Cosmetology. Iβve always loved coloring hair as long as I could remember. Itβs definitely a passion of mine! So buckle up and follow me on my hair journey βοΈοΈ β‘οΈοΈ
Healthy Hair Tips
These are things I recommend to all my clients
Remember itβs a process!
Healthy hair takes time, especially if your like me and continuously color your hair. Remember never give up! The end result is worth it!
LETS TALK PRODUCTS
First thing first donβt wash your hair often. Try at least to train your hair up to three days before you wash. The goal is to try and wash your hair once a week so it maintains natural oils your hair needs to grow. Never buy drug store products. Absolutely not good for your hair. Always buy what your salon recommends. Some of my favorite hair brands are Redken, Amika, and Paul Mitchell.
Cuts and Trims
I will say I charge the same price for a trim as a do as a cut. Trims are a must every time I have a client that goes blonde! I definitely do a trim. Split ends are not fun, if not handled and cut it can cause hair breakage. You should get a trim at least once every three weeks.
