Hi and Welcome to Color Your Plate! I’m Danielle, an obsessed foodie making all plates enjoyable while naturally supporting your immune system. I am also a wife, mom, and full time Registered Nurse in Texas.
This year I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis (an autoimmune disease). This disease is at least 8 times more common in women than in men. Sorry ladies but another thing we have to deal with on top of everything else. Sustaining a healthy lifestyle can be difficult at times, so I wanted to help others achieve optimal health and wellness through food! 🌱

Smoothie

Everything but the sink!

Those leftover celery stalks, spinach leaves, lime wedges use them for your morning smoothie.
1 cup Coconut Milk
1/2 cup Mystic Mango Kombucha
Juice of 1 lime
Rhubarb
2 celery stalks
2 cups organic spinach🌱
1/2 cup Frozen mango
1/2 cup Frozen pineapple
1/2 cup Frozen coconut slices ( I love 🥥)
1 scoop collagen
1/2 cup coconut yogurt
1/2 cucumber 🥒
1/2 avocado 🥑
Blend until smooth!

Green Juice

Ingredients

1 head of organic romaine lettuce 🥬
Organic spinach
Organic Collard Greens
1 cucumber 🥒
2 celery stalks
Rhubarb
2 organic carrots 🥕
Juice of 3 limes 🍈
1 pear 🍐
2 green apples 🍏
Juice of 1 lemon🍋
1 cup coconut water! 🥥
Blend until desired consistency. I will fill 6 jars up and drink one every morning throughout my week. Enjoy
