Compass Rose Expeditions

At Compass Rose Expeditions we operate both customized photography tours, and adventure travel trips. The Photography Tours focus on people and landscape image making, and in-depth feedback is given in the field, during photography critiques (both group and personal), and during image management and editing sessions. The Custom Adventures typically involve exhilarating hiking, cycling, mountain biking, kayak touring, and whitewater expeditions.

Our trips are operated around the world including many parts of Asia, Europe the Arctic, Patagonia, and the Himalayas. We frequently custom design trips for individuals and groups. Compass Rose Expeditions is owned by Jock Montgomery. He is on all of our tours and has over thirty years experience as a professional photographer and adventure travel guide.
