The Revolution Playlist (June 2020)

June has been a crazy year so far. We are currently in the beginning stages of a unified revolt as a result of the changes we’ve been demanding for over a century. This time came sooner than some expected but for most of us this is a LONG overdue!

As a rhythmic people, music is woven into the fabric of most things we do and protest is no different. This month’s playlist is exclusively available via @tidal because it is the only music streaming service with black ownership.

These are the songs of our common frustration, the drums of our beating hearts, the lyrics of our dedication to change, and the artists that speak for music even when the industry doesn’t want them to! This carefully curated and sequenced list is hopefully what we need to motivate us forward.
