Early Musicing

Born in the South and raised in the rhythmic city of New Orleans, Louisiana, skilled creativity runs through Cypress’s veins. Originating back to her adolescent years is an energetic passion for the arts, pointedly its music branch. After gaining the courage to exhibit her fervor for singing at the young age of 13, she has soared ever since.

Cypress’s gentle and distinguished vocal capabilities continue to open doors for her. Throughout her academic career, she has accepted requests to perform a-cappella for various on and off-campus events, was voted the female superlative recipient of Most Talented her senior year of high school, and also collected the promotion to an advanced choir just months after joining her school chorus.

After connecting with a stellar management team, Cypress grew into her own, as she began to develop her own unique style as an artist. While on her three-and-a-half year pursuit of her bachelor’s degree at Louisiana State University, Cypress seized opportunities to perform as the opener for multiple mainstream artists, such as Amine, Tinashe and The Internet.
