Dai began his writing career with the popular music website ThisIsRnB in 2019. After a few of his articles went viral, his work as a music journalist was discovered by PBS Soundfield, who contracted him to write the script for one of their digital releases. Never one to become complacent, he began seeking new avenues to express his diverse interests. That is when an opportunity to write for the Uber successful food site, The Kitchn, came around.

After his work repeatedly placed in the top 5 of The Kitchn’s News & Culture’s most-read articles for the month, he was approached by food news site Mashed to contribute to their site. He jumped at the opportunity to work for Mashed, given their stylistic differences from The Kitchn. Aside from his work as a writer, Dai is an actor, singer, and political commentator.
