Hey there! 👋🏽 I'm Daniel Ayala, and I'm running for the Pedernales Electric Cooperative (PEC) Board of Directors, District 7 in Hays County, Texas. PEC is the largest electric utility cooperative in Texas and the country, making decisions that impact thousands every day.

2021 Winter Storm Uri exposed vulnerabilities in our grid, leading to tragic consequences. Yet, PEC hasn't weatherized its systems and keeps raising rates. Unacceptable, right?

That's why I'm running with three clear goals: weatherize and hybridize our systems, lower rates through smart investments, and champion worker policies.

With my background in environmental conservation and business administration, I'm ready to tackle these challenges head-on. Let's build a more resilient, affordable, and worker-friendly energy future together!
