My husband and I moved to a new city and state a few weeks after I found out I was pregnant with my first daughter. We were so excited for this new chapter and I didn’t exactly know the changes that were coming. After the move, I began to feel so alone. I had no family, no friends, a husband who was working around the clock, no career or even a job (I didn’t want to start a job just to quit) oh and a new baby on the way. My life changed in the blink of an eye.

After I had my daughter, that alone feeling grew even bigger. I was the first of my friends to have a baby, my mom was 4 hours away, my husband had a demanding job and I had a newborn with colic and 1,000 unanswered questions.

I decided to ask one of my questions in a mom group and a sweet mom responded with answers because she was going through the same issue. We talked nonstop for weeks which led to months. I longed for that “motherhood” friendship. Someone I could relate to. But little did I know what this new friendship would bring in the next 4 years.

We haven’t gone a day without talking since then. This new friend decided to jump in and start using essential oils. I thought she was kinda crazy but after I heard her rave about them, I decided I needed them too. I had NO IDEA what essential oils were, how to use them and to tell you the truth, I was scared of them.

I received my oils, asked 10,000 questions and fell in love instantly. I was sleeping better, I was happier and my skin was clearer. Then she hit me with the “I’ve decided to do the business because I want to order monthly and have my order paid for, you should do it too!” This is when it all began.

Fast forward 3 years later and I’m happier than ever. I have 2 beautiful daughters, a loving husband, more friends than I can count. I found a community of women I felt drawn to which cured my loneliness. I found a way to have goals and feel accomplished. I found a way to help my family financially. I found a way to help my family live healthier and make better decisions. But above all, I found a way to help others do the same.
