Flatlay Coaching
What I use to take photos of my spreads
These are items that I consistently use to take photos of my flatlays. My main light source is a window.
Folding display board
Get it cheaper in a store -- the 3 sides allow you to bounce light back onto your spread. Put it between you and the spread.
LED FLOOR LAMP
15 watt; 1000 lumen -- temperature adjustment, remote, I'd recommend getting two of these, and putting one on each side of the table. You can adjust the gooseneck to hit any angle, which mitigates foil flare etc.
RING LIGHT : Main light source if not using a window
This is larger, will take up more space, plugs in to a normal outlet, not USB. But it can over power window light which is great for those days when you don’t have any natural light source.
Ring light (smaller, fill light)
I use this as fill light for my spread photos
Clip on light
This is used as a handheld light on darker days, or to plan in dark. Great for reels too to even put lighting tones. Clips on phone but can be a pain as it may cover lens unless exactly on right. I use it all the time for random things. It charges and lasts a good amount of time.
Video light (fill light)
This is great at zoom calls too! Or to plan in the dark. It plugs in to portable battery power banks etc
Poster board for back ground AND reflector
White foam board

writech brush pen
My new faves! Great for beginners.
Basic colors Pentel Sign Brush (small/MED)
These are probably my most used brush pens. They come in a variety of colors — and the full pack is so worth it! This is for the basic set of 12.
Pentel Sign Brush Pastel (set of 12)
I have to have this set as well. In combination with the basic color set, you are well-covered!
TOMBOW FUDENOSUKE 2-pack (hard & soft)
These are my most used basic black pens! Used a ton in the bujo world. I liked the soft tip while learning and now I like the hard tip better!
LE pen FLEX
Fine to small medium — great if need help differentiating between thick and thin. Available in pastels as well.
SAILOR BRUSH PEN
these are great for medium to large words!
ZEBRA DUAL TIP brush pens
I prefer these over regular highlighters because you can use them as highlighters, and you can use them as brush pens. Plus on the other side they have regular felt tip markers. They will only work as brush pens if you use them so the tips do not fray. And that means you write with them and highlight with them from the side.
ZIG COCOIRO BRUSH LETTER PEN (barrel only)
Cocoiro Letter Pens have a flexible tip unlike ordinary felt-tip pens and ballpoint pens, . I love these for brush lettering that has to be finer / smaller. This product is a pen body only. The pen tip and ink are not included. See next item in my list.
I own five barrels because I have six or seven of the colors and I just swap them out as needed. When you get them make sure you keep all the cops and so forth because when the ink is left out it will dry up
ZIG COCOIRO INK REFILL
This is one of the 12 colors available. Amazon does not carry all the colors all the time so if you are looking for a specific color, head to jet pens.com as they carry everything. See my previous listing for the barrel. On Amazon you can also purchase both together. Do you want to leave all caps in place because if you leave the ink uncapped, it will dry out. To remedy, you can put the nib under a tiny tiny tiny stream of water upright so the water will stream into the ink barrel and loosen it up. Do not do too much water or will water down ink too much .
Plan It With Darbi

Under bed / couch storage on wheels
Minor assembly required; these are awesome! It's how I am storing my seasonal flatlay props
ZIG CLEAN COLOR DOT MARKERS
Love these for dot tips
Washi tape storage
Each one can hold 40-70 rolls of washi!
Crafter tape roller
If a sticker loses its stick, or you print on printer paper (not sticker paper), this tape comes in handy. And then you can buy refills as well!
