Darling Dolphins Childcare is an infant and toddler small home childcare facility in Lompoc. Ca. Their goal to help with the need for infant care in our community.
They are so grateful each day to help take care of littles ones and see them learn and grow. They love building collaborative relationships with each family to help our community thrive.

The owner and lead teacher has a Master’s Degree and has many years working as an infant and toddler teacher.
Teaching little ones is her passion. She also loves the ocean and cetaceans and is excited to combine both into her business.

She owns and runs her childcare center with her family. They all help each other between work and school.

They are licensed and CPR/ First Aid Certified and maintain a small ratio of 1 teacher : 4 little ones
The goals for each child everyday is to stay safe, have fun and learn something new.

Kindness, integrity, empathy, good values and morals, mutual trust and respect and building collaborative, healthy relationships in person are very important to them.

Mission Statement and Philosophy
To provide a loving, second home environment for each infant in our care. Our hope is to have each infant begin at a young age and grow together with us and their friends until they are ready to start a preschool program at age 3 years old.

To provide a developmentally and safe environment for all infants and toddlers enrolled in our program. We will work hard each day to create a collaborative environment with families to help each child learn and grow every day. We will respect each child’s individual needs, personality, learning style, interests, culture, and family background. We strive to treat everyone with respect and kindness, act with integrity in our daily actions, live our values through collaboration, find innovative ways to help serve our community and strive for excellence in all we do.

Qualifications and Role as a Provider:

Family Childcare is not babysitting or being a nanny. It is not comparable to any child care center. It is families in relationships with a professional childcare provider in a family home and small business. It is designed to be a second home environment and families who trust each other, care for each other, partner together and educate each other to provide the best care possible to each child.
Being licensed helps our home and business ensure it is safe for the children we care for. The people in our home are fingerprinted and cleared through the DOJ, FBI and CACI. We are all mandated reporters and are CPR and First Aid Certified.
Kindness, empathy, integrity, a good moral compass and building healthy trusting relationships is very important to our family and business.

Enrollment Fee & Tuition Rates Per Child:
Only Fulltime Monday through Friday care is provided.

We offer:
Baby sign language practice, outdoor play, circle time learning, reading and singing songs, stretches and baby yoga, sensory activities, freeze dances, flash cards, fun and age appropriate toys, and a loving second home environment.

All diapers and wipes are provided
Food, drinks and formula are provided by families

We look forward to speaking with you about any availability, our waitlist and scheduling a tour.
When a spot becomes available we schedule 2 to 3 tours to decide which family will be the best fit.
Please remember this is also our home along with our business so we want to make sure it will be a good fit for our program.
We want to make sure our morals, goals and vision for our program align with each family to provide the best care possible for each child.
