Dasonj Smith is a free spirit.
She lives life with an open mind, a thirst for knowledge, and a keen sense of style. Born in Montego-Bay, Jamaica in 1995, Dasonj spent the first 9 years of her life on the beautiful island before relocating to Florida, USA.
Dasonj is a self-taught artist who paints, writes, sculpts, illustrates, and construct garments. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Fashion Design, from the International Academy of Design and Technology, in Tampa, FL, graduating at the top of her class as Valedictorian in the fall of 2017.
In addition to constructing a coat for the “Flora” by The House of Gam fashion show, Dasonj was an intern for one of Miami’s well renowned couturiers, Ema Savahl, where she assisted with client fittings, photoshoots, and content creation for the brand’s website.
Dasonj currently operates her own company, “alex and Dáj” where Fashion Design means philanthropy. Founded March, 1st 2017, “alex and Dáj” mission is to empower those who are willing to make a change for the greater good. Built on love, and unity, alex and Daj vows to give a voice to the voiceless, a platform for all creatives, and a community that promotes overall wellness. With its debut collection set to launch AW’20, Dasonj is determined create a seat at her own table.

We carry a wide variety of selections to choose from differing in color, pattern, print, fabric and fiber content. Also, each mask is lined with a 100% cotton flannel material, which doubles as filtration & also to alleviate breathing. We carry both children (by age) and adult sizes (Small - XL) To properly care for your cloth mask, gently hand wash and hang dry — if need be, Iron on low to medium heat.
— COSTS/PAYMENT METHODS 💳
All masks regardless of fabric selection are $10 each for adult sizes and $5 each for children sizes. For local residents (Central, FL) pick-up options are available. Otherwise, shipping is a flat rate of $5 for orders in the U.S. (International shipping costs may vary based on location)
Shipping days are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, & packages typically arrive in 2-3 business days via USPS. (U.S. orders) due to COVID-19, expect a slight variance in time-frame. Tracking numbers will be provided by end of day. Payments can be made through Zelle(Contact Dasonj for Info) and/or by CashApp ($XOXODAJ)
