Where are you located?
In southern California, however I'm always happy to shoot out of state as well. My passport is ready to go!
How long have you been doing this?
I’ve been shooting for about 7 years now. I took a photography class my freshman year of high school (it was mandatory) but I soon figured that I actually liked it. My senior year high school, I joined the yearbook club and that was when one of my teachers encouraged me to try to make a career out of it, but I never saw photography as a career choice so I moved on. After high school, I didn't know what to do next so I decided to major in psychology because that seemed the easiest and I somewhat liked it (great way to choose what I do with the rest of my life huh?). It wasn't until I discovered wedding photography that I knew what I wanted to do with my life. I fell in love with how wedding photographers were able to capture the love between two people. After shooting my first wedding, I knew that I had to be a wedding photographer.
What is your style?
I strive to capture the love between two people in love in natural light. There is nothing wrong with using artificial light outdoors but I like to use the light that mother provides (haha sounds so cheesy but its how I feel). For post production, I like my images to look clean & airy.
What kind of gear do you use?
I'm a canon girl! I have one 5D mark iv & one 5D mark iii & one 6D for backup, 3 prime series lenses, and one sigma prime lens. I also have multiple camera flashes, several sd cards and batteries for days.
How many hours should we hire you for?
The most popular coverage time is 8 hours but every wedding is different. All packages are customizable to fit your needs, so if you need less or more hours then it's totally possible.
How many photos do we get?
The average 8 hour wedding day will yield a range of 600-800 finished images. The average 1 hour engagement session will yield a range of 70-100 images. This range is subject to many outside variables: weather, timeline, etc.
Do you have a second shooter?
Yes I do! Want to know the best part? My second shooter will usually always be my husband! :) He's been helping me shoot weddings for the past 4 years and if he isn't available then I hire another photographer to come with me.
How long till we get our photos?
The maximum turn around time is 6-8 weeks for photos. Trust me, it’s worth the wait!
Do you edit all our photos you give us? YES!!! I edit every single one of your digital images. I don't know about you but I know that if I’m paying good money for photos then I’d like them all to be edited, not just some.
How do we receive our photos?
All your high resolution digital images will be delivered through an online gallery where you can download them right away. I also will provide a usb with every wedding package and all your digital images will be on there as well.
How far in advance do we need to book? Anywhere from 10-14 months out is fine. That doesn't mean I’m 100% booked but sometimes I have to turn down couples because their wedding date is already booked.
Is there a cancellation fee?
Nope! There is no cancellation fee for weddings or portrait sessions but the retainer is non-refundable.
Can we change our wedding package if we need more/less hours?
Yes, absolutely!
What if we change our wedding date?
As long as I’m open for your new wedding date, then I'll be more than happy to switch it without a new retainer fee. If i'm booked then I can refer you to some awesome photographers.
Do you have any vendor recommendations?
Oh, absolutely. Shoot me an email and I’d be happy to connect you with some of my industry friends.
We’re ready to book! What's next?
Yay! I'm so happy to be part of your special day!! I require 30% retainer fee that goes towards your remaining balance & a signed contract in order to save your date.
