ABOUT

Rachael | Founder & Lead Designer of Delve —

My name is Rachael and I live in Guelph, ON Canada with my husband and two littles, Audrey & Archer, and I am OBSESSED with all things design and décor…yup totally obsessed. I blame my ultra-creative mother who instilled this love within me.

While my career path initially took the direction of working in the area of sports and recreation, I always felt the pull towards interior design. Despite my day job, I managed to scratch my creative itch by tackling design projects for friends, my parents and of course my own humble abode.
I loved these side projects. So much so that when I was on maternity leave after having my second child, I had this epiphany; why the hell can’t I make this more than just a hobby and turn it into a career? So here I am putting my best foot forward and chasing my big ol’ dream.

I have been lucky enough to continue my education by diving into interior decorating courses and working with an amazing design firm here in Guelph where I had great mentors and was able to grow and solidify my love for design.

The best part about interior decorating is that there is no right answer. It’s completely personal and ever-changing. Now that I have branched out on my own, I am focused on ensuring everyone has the option of interior design by lowering the financial barrier with flexible price options. Our packages enable every budget access to design ideas and expert advice. As part of this, I also try to incorporate sustainability into design by reusing or repurposing items from the homeowners existing collection. Yes you can finally make use of your grandmother’s old dresser stashed in the garage.

I think there is no better feeling than coming home to a space that brings you happiness and comfort. I can help make that happen by offering a service that’s fresh, affordable and transparent. I am committed to making my clients feel empowered about creating a space completely unique to them and one they will fall in love with.

So let’s Delve in… Together!
