Tell the world what you’re made of
Hey y’all I’m Deyvis and I’m sure most of you reading this know me already😎⚡️
And what I’ve been doing to cope
I know that quarantine is hard on everyone and since this started it’s really reminded me to slow down and stay connected with God as well as the people that you love the most. This is a time to better yourself and despite the mandatory quarantine it can still be a time to spend time with those you care about most.
Pray more. I’ve been praying more throughout the day and counting my blessings. Seeing as many people don’t have the luxury of being healthy right now helps me put my complaints about the situation into context.
Spend time with family and friends. I’ve been spending much more time with my parents since this started and they’re actually pretty cool when you talk to them for a while (kinda loud) but pretty cool. My boyfriend and I have also been making an effort to FaceTime and talk even more than we did before and have virtual date nights to keep improving our relationship. On top of Facetiming, we also have daily games of Crazy8 with his little sister Valentina. Although I’m not able to see them in person having that time together everyday almost makes me love and appreciate them more!💓
Workout. Working out is helping me stay sane as well as active. I know the pressure to eat quarantine snacks and watch Netflix is high, however the need to take care of your body is higher.
