Artist in more ways than one

Since she was a child, Akira has always dabbled in everything art-related. From writing short stories to poetry, from painting or drawing portraits to photographing them, along with dancing, she's always been a storytelling artist in more ways than one.

At 19 years old, Akira is a writer, self-taught photographer, and traditional and digital artist in paintings and illustrations. She specializes in the watercolor paint and graphite mediums, capturing the light of beauty, poise, grace, and strength in her visual art of the female portrait.

Art is not meant to be hidden; there, it decomposes and falls to ash. It is meant to be shared, handled, observed, digested, spit out, and transformed by the human experience.
