Breakfast

First Watch (MD)

They serve traditional American breakfast. If you have an alternative diet (like myself), they offer a variety of options. I had chicken sausage (I was shocked they offered that AND it was good!) and gluten free toast with egg whites. I will definitely be back.

Brunch

The Warehouse (VA)

This is where I go when I want to take a ride and have good food. The drinks are bomb. (I ordered French toast and it came with a glass of champagne). Their scallops are good. And the environment is lux. Definitely my VA go to.

Lunch

Uma Uma (MD)

If you love ramen like I do, Uma Uma is your spot. Their ramen never fails me and the dumplings are a hit! Customer service is big for me and they hit the nail on the head every time.

Dinner

Ethel’s Creole Kitchen (MD)

O.M.G. This place truly amazed me. I went once before maybe a decade ago and I barely remember the experience, but when I tell you this go around made up for the last time…baby. Everything was good. The drinks, appetizers, entrees, cornbread (this is how I gage how good the food will be) and the atmosphere where all 10/10. I will be back.

Drinks

Wine O’ Clock (MD)

If you are looking to support a black woman owned business, this is definitely one you should support. Located in Mt. Vernon Marketplace, this wine shop not only has great wine on rotation but also amazing customer service.
