At 73 years old, I have become a fashion model, a writer, a speaker, a kick boxer and cyclist. It’s never too late to explore your passions. As I get older, I am adding more color and style to my wardrobe. It is not only a form of my self expression but also makes a tremendous impact on how others perceive me.

My clothing and the colors I choose to wear allow me:

Access to others that I may not have met otherwise;

Armor or a barrier when I need it;

Assimilation into the crowd if I so choose.

Even more importantly, I expand the options and motivations of others to adjust their views on what growing old can mean.

My objective is to encourage the aging population to reinvent; reimagine; reboot themselves after retirement. We cannot change the actuarial fact that as the years increase, we will experience physical changes. However, we can modify the way we approach these changes, embracing them more positively.

My goal is to have a direct positive impact on the general perceptions of aging and to dismantle the beauty standards presented in the fashion industry and advertising today.
