Discovering my true passion over a half century into my life, my eyes are wide open. What would I do without my vision? I suspect my ears would become my eyes... But I can see ..and sometimes that is painful but when I create ,the pain transforms into joy because when I paint the world slows down to the immediate moment of where to place my next mark....
I am a pastel artist. I love the natural world and enjoy rendering expressions of birds and animals and landscapes. People are complicated and just too much for me sometimes..and so I spend my days with my cats on my lap or the birds on my canvas.
