Meet Woods
Heyyyyy 👋🏽 I’m Woods (she/her) - mindful movement plant lady, wellbeing travel couturier, rewilding equity educator, professional hammocker, and 🎶 curator of dope playlists 🎶 on a radical rewilding journey.
I curate radical rewilding experiences for dreamers, changemakers, + rebels ready to flourish at the intersection of dopeness + wellbeing.
I spend most of my days OUTSIDE (like frfr): frolicking in nature, mermaid living, playing sports outside, mindfully kayaking, canoeing, hiking, (elevated +) walking/jogging, (elevated +) flowing on a rooftop, (elevated +) hammocking, and (elevated +) cloud surfing!
Why?
Because I feel the most liberated when in deep, intentional connection with my inner nature, nature in the “Great Outdoors”, and the natural healing power of the people’s plant.
How did I get here? Well…
In 2018, I left behind a decade of teaching in the traditional classroom, and found myself leading a gap year program in Latin America. This experience inspired me to take an adult gap year to travel, adventure, learn, + grow.
When I set out on my adult gap year, I decided to figure out how to align work, my wellbeing, + my passions. This led me to become a 200 hr certified yoga teacher (Marianne Wells Yoga School) and outdoor educator (NOLS). A couple years later, I’d add certified cannabis + health coach (Cannabis Coaching Institute) to my resume.
I’ve been a DEI consultant for decades, and as much as I was running away from doing that work, it became clear that I was meant to align my passions for social justice + rewilding. In alignment with my mission to elevate radical rewilding spaces for humans with identities that are marginalized and targeted by dominant culture, I also transform heart-centered, nature-based small businesses into equity centered, nature-based small businesses with culturally responsive teams.

Wanna fight for equity, but don’t know where to start?
1) Support the organizations already committed to decarceration and reparation for people, especially Black and Brown folks, in prison for w33d charges.
2) Lobby your politicians for legalization
3) Buy from and spread the word about Black and Brown MJ businesses
4) Support financially-exploited ppl in getting their MMJ cards
