What is diamond microdermabrasion?

What is the procedure like?

Microdermabrasion uses a variable flow of vacuum suction to maintain contact with the skin whilst the crystals (or diamond tips) get to work by smoothing and buffing the skin's surface.

The diamond method uses a diamond-tipped wand to buff and smooth the skin, combined with a flow of vacuum suction to maintain contact. The degree of exfoliation depends on the number of passes, the coarseness and pressure of the diamond wand, and the frequency of treatment.

How does the treatment work?

Dead skin cells are suctioned off while the negative pressure boosts blood circulation and stimulates cell regeneration. Excess of hardened skin is removed which make space for receptive active ingredients. At the same time, impurities caused by clogged pores are reduced by removing the corneum (hardened skin layer). Wrinkles look finer, pores get smaller and new skin cell production is stimulated. The vacuum massage means your skin feels instantly firmed.
