Our collective vision is to give children the ability to dream BIG DREAMS and to equip them with the capacity to get there.

In order to dream big dreams, our children will need to be free to dream. Our mission at Dream School is to create an environment that facilitates freedom through it relaxed, non-judgemental approach.

For children to be innovators, to express, to connect, feel, to learn not “just incase they need to know it one day”, but learn “just for right now”. For them to explore their interests; create things, and find what it is that lights them up and are passionate about. Gardening, art, writing, building, or changing the world. To develop critical thinking skills, relationship skills, and skills needed for this growing and rapidly changing world and future. And for them to remember how to connect with themselves, be heart centred, and tap into their unique geniuses to share with the world.

Mentors not teachers, sharing wisdom and skills. A few hours a week rather than the 5 day slog, that leaves them depleted and no energy to do the things they love and want to do. Explore and learn about the world around them, how things work; and their uniqueness and inner worlds. How to be in relationship with others. Being allowed to express in any way desired.

Really, it’s coming back to the basics. It’s learning through doing, through experience. It’s finding what your interests, talents and passions are and becoming a master at them to them teach others. It’s making mistakes, while having fun along the way.

It’s freedom.

We are now creating what we want to see, through the power of community. Where we have one another to gift our skills, wisdom and mentoring to our children and young people.
