Court Reporter to CART Captioner!
Danielle began her court reporting career in 2014 working as a freelance deposition reporter in Northern California, and she transitioned to captioning in 2017. She started her freelance captioning career contracting with multiple pioneering captioning agencies for the State of California, captioning on-site and remotely with various universities, government, and state agencies. Danielle has experience in the fast-paced world of
broadcast captioning and CART, specializing in multi-faceted remote captioning services.
Danielle suffered severe ear infections as a child, and until the age of four she was in and out of the hospital until surgery to remove her tonsils. An interesting fact about Danielle is that her father also had severe hearing loss in the left ear his entire life. Danielle remembers having her hearing checked in grade school and found the process intriguing!
She is grateful for her chosen career as a freelance independent contractor, which provides continuous growth opportunities, working with appreciative customers and top-
leading professionals around the world!
