Nice to meet you!

Hi! My name is Emma , it’s so great to meet you! I was about to start my sophomore year of college when I found out I was pregnant. And not only was I just pregnant , I was 20 WEEKS ALONG! Shortly after my sophomore year started , I was admitted for preeclampsia and delivered my son at 25 weeks. Terrified was an understatement. Knowing he was going to have a pretty timely NICU stay, I decided to put school on hold and work full-time so I could ensure I’d be available to visit him but also be financially okay. Fast forward two years, he is the healthiest , happiest (and sassiest) little guy. With childcare being pretty pricey nowadays and illnesses spreading like wildfire, I battled with the thought of having to work out of the house while he was potentially being exposed to illnesses at school. What if I had to take off work to stay with him? What if I didn’t have enough money? All of the what ifs started to overwhelm me. Plus it is incredibly hard to find a well-paying job that would allow me to take my son to appointments that he has weekly due to being so premature. Then I discovered the best of both worlds. I can now make a pretty sizable income without having to leave my house, I can stay home with my son, and I can create my own flexibility. If I can do it, so can you! 🌸
