  1. Callum L. Grady (President)

    Callum L. Grady (President)

    Hi, I'm Callum and I'm extremely passionate about student entrepreneurship. As a first year Business & Management student, I initiated projects such as EHSU blog series Start Up Stories, as well as being involved in the founding of Wine Society and Edge Hill's Enactus team. I was also Edge Hill University's Resident Entrepreneur at a Young Enterprise event.

    I'm looking forward to continuing to foster an ecosystem of student entrepreneurship during my second year.

    Harrison Holt (VP Finance)

    Hi, my name is Harrison Holt and I study International Business. Some of my hobbies include travelling, and sports such as badminton and football. As the VP of Finance for the Business and Entrepreneurship Society I look forward to helping shape the financial strategy behind our events, partnerships, and growth as a society. I’m passionate about innovation, sustainable business, and creating real-world opportunities for students to help them explore entrepreneurship.

  3. Rebecca Walmsley (VP Marketing)

    Rebecca Walmsley (VP Marketing)

    Hi! I’m Rebecca, a marketing undergraduate with a strong passion for consumer behavior, brand storytelling, and public relations. I’m excited to be part of the Business and Entrepreneurship Society as VP of Marketing!

    In this role, I’ll be sharing content, updates on student opportunities, and behind-the-scenes insights into all the exciting things happening within the society. I’m looking forward to supporting and promoting the incredible initiatives we have in store.

    When I’m not immersed in my studies, you can find me practicing yoga, playing the guitar, or exploring fashion!

  1. Dr. Ufuk Alpsahin Cullen

    Dr. Ufuk Alpsahin Cullen

    Ufuk obtained a BEng (Hons) in industrial engineering in 1993 and held various engineering and senior management positions at global companies, such as Bosch and Nike. After a successful career in engineering and quality management, she started working as a freelance Management Consultant in 1998 and helped dozens of businesses to have successful ISO 9000, HACCP and ISO 14000 audits and to obtain the ISO certificate. Ufuk established business support units within universities to support university and business partnerships which resulted in her career shift to the academic field in 2001. Her research fields broadly lie within female entrepreneurship, circular entrepreneurship, informal entrepreneurship, business model innovation and informal economy. On the side, her research on student employability is going on too.

  2. Paul Marsters

    Paul Marsters

    Paul Masters is an experienced tech industry leader, senior adviser and lecturer, supporting the development of business growth through digital transformation and adoption. Paul has significant leadership experience in many industries, including banking and finance, consumer goods, manufacturing, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, consulting, and software. Al, crypto and blockchain are core areas of his research and study. Paul is passionate about bringing his vast experience to students and applying his practical background to academic theory.

  3. Prof. Marcello Trovati

    Prof. Marcello Trovati

    After having obtained his PhD in Mathematics at the University of Exeter in 2007, specialising in theoretical dynamical systems with singularities, he accepted a position as algorithm tester and research specialist at a medium sized software development company. His main responsibility was to create, test and document state-of-the-art statistical algorithms to analyse big datasets. He then moved to the newly created Dublin IBM Research Lab to carry out research (mainly in the field of knowledge discovery, text mining, and mathematical modelling), where he gained valuable business and research experience through collaborations with several scientists, both at IBM and academic institutions. In 2016, Marcello joined the Computer Science Department at Edge Hill University as a senior lecturer. He was subsequently awarded a Professorship in Computer Science.

  4. Prof. Simon Bolton

    Prof. Simon Bolton

    Professor Simon Bolton is a global innovation specialist and Associate Dean at Edge Hill University. He has secured over £40 million for SME support projects, driving business innovation and economic growth. With a background in engineering, he bridges practice and theory, helping businesses leverage disruptive innovation and customer insights.
