Meet Dr. Brianna
Brianna was first introduced to Daoist medicine at 15 years old, when she began practicing Qigong with her acupuncturist and teacher. It changed her life to say the least. She went on to study Eastern philosophy and religion as well as behavioral health and nutrition during her undergraduate studies. After graduating from the University of Delaware in 2013, she listened to the call to relocate to Portland, OR and began her masters studies of East Asian Medicine at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. In 2020, she received her doctorate of East Asian Medicine from the Pacific College of Health and Science. During her doctoral studies, she focused on the effects of sound and vibration on the body.
A musician since the age of 8, the integration of sound medicine with her practice of Daoist healing arts felt completely natural. Her current practice explores the intimate relationships between the breath, subtle movement and sound. She has been offering sound baths to her community since 2018. Brianna's deepest purpose is to offer gentle medicine to the collective — to cultivate spaces for deep rest and ease so folks can receive the healing magnitude of their own inner source of vitality, intelligence and wisdom.
