Welcome to My Website!

A little bit about myself...

My name is Ella Lucuta and I'm 19 years old. I made this site because I wanted to link every interest of mine and every project that I'm working on to show to anyone who has an interest to what I enjoy doing. I currently work full time at a cafe restaurant. I like to unwind with meditation, yoga, listening to music, and a lot of journaling. I also plan to start a small Etsy shop for making candle and resin art, but I will add more to it once I get more ideas.I hope you enjoy my website. Feel free to browse around!

Ways I've Learned to Live A Happier & Better Life

Growing up I've dealt with depression and anxiety quite a bit and to this day I still sometimes struggle to be my true and authentic self around people, but I am trying. My depression got so bad that it made me miss out on things that could've been amazing and also made me drop out of high school, but I currently am working to get that completed. With my depression I also had a lot of anger and made up lots of reasons to be upset. One day I decided I really don't want this to be my life anymore so I surrounded myself with good people and researched on ways to overcome my depression and my anxiety and I'm happy to say that I've improved tremendously, but theres always room for improvement. These are a few websites I've used to help me so please feel free to take a look at them. I also want to say that if anyone ever needs someone to talk to, I'm a very great listener and will help you the best I can. Feel free to contact me on my Instagram or any other social media that I have.

#1 Trying to Overcome My Depression...

Andrea Watcher is a Psychotherapist who gives great advice and gives great examples that have helped me a lot to overcome my depression. She also tells her journey of overcoming depression herself, so she definitely understands what it's like to deal with depression. Her practices and tips are very helpful and are definitely worth reading and listening to. Other people on insight timer are very great also. I've used the Insight Timer App to have guided meditation for my morning and evening meditation sessions.

#2 Trying to Overcome My Anxiety...

Karen Young has given great advice on different ways to overcome anxiety and stress without using medication. From personal experience, medication did not help me, but make me feel absolutely numb which is the main use for antidepressants and anti anxiety medications. Taking medication can really make you feel lifeless which can also make you feel worse about yourself. Karen Young lists different natural and healthy ways to help that have helped me tremendously and I believe it is an article worth sharing with all of you. Please take a look.

#3 Adding Meditation to My Daily Routine...

Meditation has helped me a lot with depression and anxiety. Every morning when I wake up for work I always would get anxiety because I'd worry that a customer would get really mad at me and say very rude things or if I make a mistake at work and get yelled at for it. A lot of small issues that I cause tend to make my anxiety extremely bad even if it's not a big deal. But every morning I would meditate, think about how today is going to be a great day and just remind myself that I just need to do what I need to do and that everything of going to be just fine. This website helped me a lot to learn to meditate because it can be hard. If you have an interest of using meditation to help you, please take a look at this link.
