Bonus Playtime:

Before enrolling, we’ll schedule a one-on-one consultation to ensure this class is the best fit for you & your child. We’ll talk about your child’s needs, learning style, and goals. Think of it as a personalized way to make sure your child will get the most out of their experience.

The consultation fee is non-refundable, but will be applied to tuition when you enroll.

That’s exactly why I created this enrichment program at Little Town Play Café. It’s a space where children can grow their confidence with early reading skills in a small, supportive group, and where parents can feel reassured that their child is learning in a way that’s playful, engaging, and developmentally right for them.

I’m a certified Orton-Gillingham educator and literacy specialist. Orton-Gillingham is a highly respected, research-based approach to teaching reading. It’s multi-sensory, structured, and personalized, which means I meet children right where they are and help them build skills step by step.

In our classes, I use the principles of structured literacy, an approach proven to help all learners, especially those who may struggle with reading. This means your child will get explicit, clear instruction in areas that are essential for strong reading growth:

Phonological & Phonemic Awareness - building the foundation for sounding out and recognizing words.

Letter-Sound Knowledge - making connections between print and spoken language.

Confidence & Independence - children not only learn to read but begin to see themselves as readers.

The $45 consultation fee will be applied toward your first month’s tuition if you enroll.

Q: How long is the class?
A: Each class is 45–60 minutes

Q: Do I drop my child off?
A: No, this is not a drop-off program or daycare. Parents are asked to stay on site during class. You’re welcome to enjoy the café area to work, sip coffee, or relax while your child learns and plays.

Q: What is the consultation?
A: A one-time $45 session to learn about your child and answer your questions. The fee is applied to your first month when you enroll.

Q: What if my child misses a class?
A: Classes cannot be rescheduled if your child misses a session. The only exception is if the teacher cancels, in which case a makeup session will be offered.
