Cookbook author and food writer

I'm an Australian-Japanese food writer and cookbook author who has called Florence, Italy, home for the past 20 years. I live in Tuscany with my sommelier husband, Marco Lami and our children, where we run a wine bar and cooking school, Enoteca Marilu.

I have written six cookbooks, Florentine, Acquacotta and Tortellini at Midnight and Torta della Nonna, Cinnamon & Salt. My latest, Gohan, is an award-winning Japanese cookbook of home cooking. I have a blog at emikodavies.com and newsletter, where I publish regional recipes and travel guides.
